There are about 2,500 Great Bustard at Villafafilia I managed, with the help of Pierre a new friend and great naturalist, to see about 160 we got fairly close but the light was bad. The next day the tracks were impassable. We managed to photograph Gull-billed Tern, Lesser Kestrel, Bee-eaters and Booted Eagle.

Back to England, great to be home for my nieces wedding, and to give my girls and grandsons plenty of hugs & watch them play football.

Its also great to catch up with friends. Had a good few days in York. Plenty of brandy in Tamworth, I think Pete has still got a hang over. My pockets were picked in Rugby, the trouble that causes and the contacts I have lost because of it are terrible. Then a few good days in London. Many thanks to Elisa and Dil for all there help & Akshey & Kumal for their hospitality
