John is a natural enthusiast and a great birder he makes his clients welcome and treats them to a great culinary experience. There are about 2,500 Great Bustard at Villafafilia I managed, with the help of Pierre a new friend and great naturalist, to see about 160 we got fairly close but the light was bad. The next day the tracks were impassable. We managed to photograph Gull-billed Tern, Lesser Kestrel, Bee-eaters and Booted Eagle. 14th Went a sort distance got photo of Bonelli's Warbler. Golden Oriel sang most of the day, Bee-eaters kept me amused while Sub-alpine Warbler were flitting about. Saw my first Wolf, for a few seconds it sniffed the air (probably my curry) then it disappeared back into the forest. 12-04-2016 11-04-2016
